Author Makes the Case for Love in Coping with Civic, Social, and Personal Turmoil
Robert Lee Hill to Sign Copies of “All You Need is More Love” in Kansas City Area
How do we cope in times of stress and seeming turmoil? Is love the answer? Robert Lee Hill thinks so, and he makes his case in “All You Need is More Love: and 101 More Musings, Essays and Sundry Pieces,” a poignant, exuberant, and vital collection of essays, musings, remembrances, and missives.
In “All You Need is More Love: and 101 More Musings, Essays and Sundry Pieces,” (Caroline Street Press, Trade Paperback, 237 pages, October 2019), Hill declares that love is foundationally and ultimately our greatest possession and our greatest gift, offering this rich trove of humor, introspection, and observation supporting the belief that we live well and live best by loving one another. Hill will sign copies of the book at several events throughout the holiday season in the Kansas City area, beginning Sunday, November 17, 2019, at The Well in Waldo (see below for a complete list of events).

Hill is a nonfiction writer, poet, and community consultant for non-profit organizations focusing on social justice issues, including quality public education, increased voter registration and participation, and access to health care for all. He has written or edited nine previous books, including “The Color of Sabbath,” “Hard to Tell,” and his initial love-focused endeavor, the acclaimed “Life’s Too Short for Anything But Love.”
Several portions of the book emanate from Hill’s time as senior minister at Kansas City’s Community Christian Church, and it features a foreword by clergyman and United States Congressman Emanuel Cleaver II (Missouri).
