Crisis Communication Services

Prepare for the worst with the best in crisis communications services.

The goal of a crisis communication plan is to help your company or organization be prepared to respond more quickly and effectively when involved in a negative situation. The successful institution will be viewed as responsive, truthful, and concerned about the audience served.

Creating a useful crisis communication plan requires thoughtful planning, research, strategic integration, rehearsal, and continuous improvement.

AGPR offers several solutions for enterprises of all sizes desiring to ensure maximum preparedness for a crisis.

Our process is simple, affordable, and will position your organization to respond optimally to a crisis that could damage or even ruin your reputation.

The AGPR Process

Our Services

Not all organizations require the same level of assistance. That’s why we offer three tiers of service.

Tier One • Existing Crisis Plan Review
If you have a plan on the shelf but aren’t confident it’s up to the task, we’ll review your existing plan and offer suggestions to improve it. This could amount to simple tweaks or recommending major additions to the plan’s content.

Tier Two • Assist in Creating a Plan
No plan in place? Often, organizations have a grasp on the basics but need a framework and “boots on the ground” consulting to make their plan goals workable and effective. AGPR provides a consultant who attends meetings, offers templated solutions, and acts as a neutral analyst on the content, direction, and overall feasibility of the plan.

Tier Three • We Create the Plan
This option is for the enterprise that has not created a viable crisis communications plan. AGPR assigns a consultant to your business to manage the process of creating a crisis communications team and plan. We manage and work through every step of the process, write the plan in collaboration with the client, conduct training, and direct rollout of the plan to all staff.

Additional Services

Retained Services • For a monthly fee, we are on-call to assist in case of a crisis situation or general communications-related consultation.

Active Crisis Communications Management • We also assist companies during a crisis, work with clients to advise and conduct a strategy aimed at minimizing negative exposure to an incident. This takes the form of AGPR analyzing the situation and offering strategic advice and messaging, and we can also assume the role of spokesperson to the media and public.

Spokesperson Training • We’ll help get your spokesperson comfortable, confident, and prepared for the moment when you need them at their best. Our training includes theory and mechanics but ultimately relies on rehearsal for a variety of scenarios and mediums.

Social Media Strategy Consulting • Social media is here to stay, and while it’s a great way to stay in touch with your customers and fans, it can be the bane of your existence in a crisis. We can help you manage your social media when the heat’s on, whether it’s Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, or Facebook.

Fees

Crisis communication services are not “cheap,” but they are a vital investment in the reputation, indeed the bottom line, of your company. Just like commercial liability or car insurance, when the stuff hits the fan, crisis communication planning will be one of the wisest investments your company ever made.

Many companies are unfortunately penny wise and pound foolish when it comes to crisis communication planning. We have all seen the damage to reputations and finances of organizations that clearly had no plan in place. We hate to say it, but a crisis is not an “if” proposition, but a “when.”

Project Rates • Our tiered service offerings are created on a flat fee, “project basis” to achieve your goals at a reasonable rate. However, every client has unique requirements that necessitate varying timelines, staff needs, urgency, travel expenses, hard costs for materials, etc. Therefore, we prefer to learn about your project first, and then offer a brief proposal outlining our deliverables and fees.

Retained Services • We are one phone call away for your crisis situation or communications-related needs. This is a set fee, payable monthly, that ensures you are a priority should you need our services.

Hourly Rates • Smaller-scope projects (brief consultations, discussions, quick tweaks) often make more budget sense to hire us on an hourly basis.
