Ugly Sweater Time!

The holiday season is a time full of hot cocoa, gifts and, of course, ugly sweaters. Delden Garage Doors, a Kansas City, MO based company, wants to see your garage door as festive as you are with their second annual Ugly Sweater Garage Door Contest.

Break out your knitting needles, Photoshop skills or anything else you can find to create the ugliest sweater aroundfor your garage door, and you’ll have a chance at a prize that will surely give you a “lift.”

Post a photo of your ugly creation on Delden Garage Doors’ Facebook page (search “Delden Garage Doors Corporation” on Facebook or see link below) between December 1^st and 15^th for a chance to win a LiftMaster 8550W Elite Series Operator (material only, installation not included). The photo with the most “likes” will win the prize.

“After receiving such enthusiastic participation and wonderfully ugly sweaters during last year’s contest, we couldn’t wait to get into the holiday spirit and see your decorated garage doors again this season,” said Brad Dodson of Delden Garage Doors. “We also want to remind folks that roughly 15 to 25 percent of your home is the garage. The winner will be announced December 19. In case of a tie, Delden Garage Doors reserves the right to cast the tiebreaking vote. Any photo deemed offensive, profane, in poor taste or not in keeping with the spirit of the contest will be removed. Delden Garage Doors will contact the winner through Facebook http://www.facebook.com/deldenmfg  to arrange shipment of the prize. If the winner does not respond to reasonable attempts to contact them, Delden reserves the right to select a runner-up winner. Contest open to entries from the continental United States. Winner also agrees to allow their name, city of residence and likeness to be used in Delden Garage Door promotional materials.
