There are four aspects to a font that you really need to think about, and that’s the size, the age of the person that you are aiming your brand toward, the line spacing you use and the color intensity. The biggest complaint for online users about font is whether it’s too small or too faint to be read correctly. Given how our eyes change as we age, you want to remember that the older generation is going to need something bold, especially when reading on a computer!

The font that you use for your company logo can really speak for your personality as a company. If you think about designed companies like Disney, they have an intricate font that is rarely copied; it’s so well known that the font itself is known as a Disney font. You can create a personality based off the style and color of the font that you use, and that’s why typography can make or break your business. If someone approached you with a design of dark blue, plain font on a light grey background, you’re guaranteeing that you are going to be flushing money down the drain. You want to have a font that is easy to read and memorable so that customers and clients out there are going to associate the colors with your name and your name only.

Using typography to invoke personality is how you can influence your audience. Eye-catching colors and memorable styles are what people remember and if you can achieve that simply with the name of your company, then there is no way that you can be unsuccessful in the eyes of your customers.
