Return of the Intern
By Molly Brown
With another semester under my belt, I decided there is no better place to spend my summer than back at AGPR/AlexanderG Public Relations. Alex agreed and for that I am grateful. (Maybe he thought he had gotten rid of me, but I don’t give up that easily.) My short time over winter break was jam-packed full of learning, but I know there’s more in store for me here at AGPR.
“How was school?” and “What are you doing this summer?” are the most popular questions to ask a college student when they come home. So I will answer those for you.
I kept pretty busy this semester between two 500 level Spanish classes, two public relations classes, and the dreaded public speaking adding up to 14 hours, and working two jobs. But I am always making sure to make the most of my “college experience” by spending time with friends, working out, taking spontaneous road trips, and having as much fun as I can. To answer your question – this semester was fantastic.
College is great and all, but so is summer. Not only will I be spending the summer as an assistant account executive at AGPR; I will be moonlighting as a lifeguard. This will be my 5th summer as a lifeguard and if you follow me on social media you will be sure to learn about some #LifeguardProblems. On top two wonderful jobs, I will be attending a lot of concerts, traveling, and many other adventures.
I’m back – more excited than ever and looking forward to sharing everything I learn on my internship journey this summer.
