AGPR Welcomes Stephanie Greenwood

Stephanie Greenwood joins AGPR as Principal and Vice President of Client Services. She brings more than 20 years of experience in public relations strategic planning and execution, message development, media relations, media/messaging training, spokesperson management and event planning.

Most recently, Stephanie was a senior manager of communications at Sprint. During her 18 year tenure, she managed a team responsible for raising awareness of Sprint’s business-to-business strategy and solution portfolio for small, medium and large businesses across a variety of industries.

Through close media relationships and proven pitching expertise, she achieved countless media hits in local and national business, technology and industry media outlets about new products and strategy, business milestones, executive profiles and customer success stories. She was responsible for creating messaging that resonated with the appropriate influencer audiences, executing successful media tours and events in major media markets like New York City and San Francisco, managing onsite media relations at industry trade shows and events (such as CTIA, CES, Los Angeles Auto Show and misc. industry-specific shows), conducting media relations/messaging training with spokespeople, producing social media strategies and communicating with employees.

She was a trusted advisor to her senior executive clients as she collaborated with them to develop PR strategy, fine tune messaging and prepare them for media interviews and appearances. Earlier in her Sprint career, Stephanie supported several Sprint consumer technology products and managed customer and regulatory communications for the local telecommunications division.

Stephanie began her career as an Account Executive at Everett, Klamp, Bernauer and Assoc. where she managed all aspects of local, regional and national accounts in travel, healthcare, automobile and legal sectors. Stephanie served on the Board of Directors for the Kansas City International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) and received Bronze Quill and Silver Quill awards for excellence in communications. She served on the Board of Directors for the Western Missouri/Greater Kansas City chapter of the Arthritis Foundation and received their “Outstanding Volunteer Service” award.

She helped establish and chair the annual Art for Arthritis fundraising event, which pairs children with juvenile arthritis with Kansas City-area artists to create a unique piece of art that is auctioned for the benefit of arthritis research and programs. Stephanie graduated from Truman State University with a bachelor of arts in business-marketing and a minor in communications.

She lives in Kansas City, Missouri, with her husband and daughter.
