Friday Thoughts

Broadcasting From My Brain to Yours...

(With apologies to Larry King)

Sometimes you’re the windshield, sometimes you’re the bug…Always appreciate your customers and treat each communication with them as if it may be your last, because that may very well be the case…I’ll be glad when the election is over. I’ve had enough “democracy in action,” thank you (and by that I mean campaign ads)…On Halloween I’ll be appearing on the KC NBC affiliate to plug my new novel. Maybe I can scare up some sales? Details to follow…Speaking of Halloween, it’s my favorite holiday…love the silliness, the scares, the candy…Question: why do people speed up to get to red lights? You know what kind of gas mileage you get at a red light? Zero MPG…When did writing thank you notes go out of style? Just saying…By the way, if you enjoy this sort of witty (!) dialogue, follow me on twitter @a_greenwood …I’m extraordinarily grateful to live in a country where I’m reasonably safe, can ply my trade and speak my mind (such as it is)…Starting a PR podcast soon, I think…I truly admire the entrepreneurial instincts of Mr. Dan Coyle. He lives life on his own terms and makes a living doing what he loves…Speaking of entrepreneurial, I will soon start marketing my seminar on “Kickstarter Success Secrets.” Stay tuned…I’ve lost so many pairs of reading glasses lately you can just call me Velma from Scooby Doo…Over at the Caroline Street Press side of the business, we will soon announce a new author in our catalog…it’s Friday, and my thought process has run out of gas, so, I’ll stop after wishing you a fine weekend, friends. –Alex
