The Madness Is Upon Us!

If you’re a regular reader of this blog, you probably know that we’re big users of social media, such as Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook. If you like the cut of our jib, you can help us get a little recognition and some bragging rights by voting for us in Kansas City’s Social Madness business competition sponsored in part by the Kansas City Business Journal. (We rack up points based on a combination of online votes, new followers on Twitter, new friends/fans/likes on Facebook and new connections on LinkedIn.)

Here’s the details:

The preseason is over, and the game is on for Social Madness.

The tournament-style competition pits companies based on their social media skills. As such, it also serves as a way for area businesses to build up their following on leading social media sites and as a living laboratory for all businesses to see which approaches work.

More than 40 Kansas City-area companies are in the running, split into small, medium and large categories. Similar local competitions are taking place in 43 markets nationwide.

Companies will rack up points based on a combination of online votes, new followers on Twitter, new friends/fans/likes on Facebook and new connections on LinkedIn.

So what are you waiting for? Let’s go mad! Vote for us:
